How to get beige, mixing rules and color chart
The beige color is a light brown tone with the addition of cream and yellowish shades. Beige is a neutral shade. It dilutes the palette of saturated colors, softens the transitions, creates charm and discretion. Beige tint is widely used by artists, architects, builders. Very often you have to create this color scheme, because it is quite rare in the assortment of stores. Consider how a beige color is achieved at home.

This color does not belong to an independent shade. Painters, painters get it by mixing several tones. There are three options for tinting the paint in a beige tone. Take:

- For a more saturated shade, you can increase the proportion from 1 to 4.

- Wait for the gouache to dry. See if it fits or not.
- It often happens that after drying the color changes. Then you need to add a white or brown component.
- For darker coloring, black is poured. But it's a drop. Otherwise, it will turn out to be a dirty gray.
It is better to make small proportions at the beginning to avoid shade errors. Do not forget to wash the brushes after work, tightly close the paints.
Acrylic compounds
A composition based on acrylic suspensions will look magnificent. The paint is made on the basis of acrylic, water.
You will need:
- Paintings: snow white, brown.
- Brushes.
- Mixing container.
To obtain a beige color, dyeing is performed. A little brown paint is added to the whitewash. The advantage of acrylic blends is odorless and environmentally friendly.

One of the varieties of acrylic suspensions is silicone enamel. The walls of the room are painted with silicone enamel. Use alkyd mixtures

The technology for obtaining a beige color is similar to that of acrylic compounds. Alkyd paints are cheap, but they have a specific pungent smell. Therefore, they are not popular with professionals.

Watercolor
If you want to get a beige shade for painting with watercolors, take brown paint and whitewash, mix on the palette. In a one to one ratio. For enhancement, you can go from brown to white, like two to one.

Do not immediately pour the entire proportion of brown.
Sand
This will require five components. White, brown, red, green, black. The proportions are observed according to the table below.
Opal

Cream
For a cream color scheme, take red, whitewashed, yellow and blue paints.Mix in the relationship indicated in Table No. 1.
Light caramel
Dilute the white base paint with orange until a suitable result is achieved. The proportions are shown in the table below.
Wheat
It is obtained from yellow, snow-white and red colors. The ratios are shown in Table 1.
Ivory
A whitish tone is taken and gold is mixed into it. We observe the ratio of two to one.
Light coffee
Red, yellow and violet are taken, in the proportion indicated in table n°1. With the last component, you have to be very careful not to exceed the content. We mix everything carefully.
Dark beige
One option is to take the red and green colors one by one. Another option is to mix red, yellow and blue. Proportion as in the previous case.

How can you make a beige color from plasticine
There is no beige color in the sculpting kits. Therefore, you will have to do it yourself.
- We take bars with white, pink, yellow.
- Knead well and mix the red with the orange.
- Then add the white modeling clay and knead until smooth.
- We observe the proportions.
Plasticine ratio:
- White modeling clay: 2/3 parts.
- Pink, yellow: 1/3.
Attention. You can reheat the sticks for better mixing. To do this, put it in a bag, immerse it in hot water for 10-15 minutes.
