At the end of the warm-up, the clothes should be put in another solution, for the preparation of which a tablespoon of vinegar and salt is mixed with water. In this composition, the pants are kept for half an hour. During this procedure, the color of the processed material is fixed and becomes more saturated. At the end of the manipulation, the pants must also be rinsed several times and left to dry.
Common Mistakes
The most common mistake is using the wrong dye. It is necessary to choose the composition taking into account the type of treated fabric. It is not recommended to dye corduroy pants. This fabric does not hold color. The second common mistake is trying to achieve a different color when painting. This approach will not bring the desired result. As mentioned above, when dyed in other colors, halftones are obtained.
That is, if you need black from beige, then the pants will turn out dark or gray-brown.
It is recommended to degrease the fabric before dyeing it. Third particles do not allow the prepared mixture to penetrate deep into the material, which leads to the appearance of light spots on some parts of the pants.
