3 recipes to make crunchy slimes at home
Today, few girls and boys (and parents too) have never experienced the slime crunch at least once. There are a lot of slimes and slimes on the shelves of stores with products for children. It is interesting to listen to the sounds that the toy makes. Perhaps there is only one drawback - the high price. And if you make a slime at home, it will be much cheaper and you can mix the ingredients together with your child. It will be so much more fun.
What is Crispy Mud
Slime, or slime, is an anti-stress toy. It is a mass that is plastic, sticky, perfectly preserves the unity of the structure. It is pleasant to crumple such a toy in your palms, and both children and adults play with it. Crunchy slime gets its name from the characteristic sound that is emitted when it comes into contact with the hands. What does slime look like and how can it be made? Everything is not as complicated as it might seem at first glance. We select the ingredients, combine according to the recipe and start a fun game.
How to choose the ingredients?
The components of slime interact with each other. When ingredients of a different nature are added to the mass - air (hair foam, for shaving, for example), air bubbles are formed.For this reason, a cracking sound can be heard during gameplay.
A quarter of the recipes use glue. But not everyone will. You need to take PVA glue (preferably white):

If there is no PVA, stationery glue will do."Introducing" the PVA into the slime, one must be prepared for the fact that it will be opaque. But when using stationery, the opposite is true (provided color-giving ingredients are not added).Sometimes foam balls or modeling clay are added to the mud. This is also an option, as the sounds made when touching the hands will be varied.

There are many recipes for making crispy slime. Let's dwell on the most interesting.
With cleansing gel
This recipe provides a chance to make an unusual slime with the addition of beads.
Required components:
- silicate glue - 130 ml;
- Parsley washing gel - 2 tablespoons;
- small transparent beads - 100 grams.
The kitchen is simple. First, pour the glue into a bowl. Add the gel to it and stir until it forms something like a slime. The finished toy should be kneaded in the palms of your hands and placed on the surface of the table. Sprinkle with marbles and knead again. It turns out to be a very good quality slime. Every child will be delighted with such a slime.
With the addition of silicate glue
In this recipe for a crispy texture foam balls are used.
Components:
- silicate glue - 50 ml;
- soda - 5 teaspoons;
- warm water - 45 ml;
- liquid for lenses - 25 ml;
- a drop of dye;
- bowl with foam balls.
Pour the glue into a saucepan.Add baking soda and mix well. Pour in water and stir again until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Pour a thickener into this mass. In this recipe, it is a liquid for lentils. Mix everything again. Pour in the dye and do not forget to stir all the time. When the mass has become thick, it can be removed and transferred to another bowl, in which the balls lie. A few minutes to "climb" there slime. Take it out and knead it carefully in your hands. Everything is ready!
With shaving foam
This recipe will use ingredients that may not be entirely traditional. But the result is worth it.
Required components:
- PVA glue - 300 ml;
- shaving foam - 300 ml;
- boric acid - 2 tablespoons;
- soda - 1 tbsp;
- food coloring;
- mixing bowl;
- gloves.
Take a deep bowl and mix the glue and foam in the bottom. The connection will form the basis of the future toy. Add the dye to the mass and mix until a uniform color is obtained. It's the turn of boric acid. The maximum convenience will be to buy a pharmacy bottle, from which two or three drops will come out at once.
Add 3-4 pinches of salt to the mass. Mix again. If you want the toy to subsequently emit clicks, after combining the components of the mass, you need to knead it in your palms for about twenty minutes. This will make it airy and trap a lot of air bubbles, which will cause a crackling noise.
Home storage and use
For the storage of sludge, only tightly closed containers are suitable. Otherwise, the toy will not last long.
Important! It is best that small children do not play with slimes, as they contain a large amount of chemicals that can harm babies.
If such toys are created specifically for children, parents are obliged to control the game process so that no problems arise.
Tips & Tricks
When dyeing slime, you should start with a minimal amount of dye. Adding too much can stain your hands with such a toy. If the slime isn't very thick, chances are there isn't much thickener in it. You can add a little more. Do this until the mass takes the required consistency. If, on the contrary, it is difficult to crush the slime in the palms, the liquid components included in the selected recipe can help. They must be added little by little, until the result is as expected.
Any activator can be used. Just keep in mind that the proportions of the thickener will be different. They are selected experimentally. Add the activator carefully so as not to overdo it and ruin the toy.
If you correctly apply the above recipes in practice, you can make slime at home. If it didn't work right away, the reason is probably that the proportions were violated or the mass wasn't fully involved. We have to try again and again.
