Active ingredient and preparation form of the drug
The product is available as an aqueous emulsion. It is a brown or yellowish liquid. The active substance is fenthion - 20%, organophosphorus substance. Auxiliary components of the preparation are: stabilizer, synergist, water, fragrance. The synergist enhances the effect of the main component and increases the duration of its effect on insects. Dobrokhim FOS is a contact and intestinal pesticide. The period of residual activity of the drug is from 20 days to one and a half months.
The insecticide is suitable for industrial and domestic use. Effective against all domestic insects.
It is produced in dark plastic bottles with a tight screw cap, with a volume of 50 milligrams, 1 liter.
The container with the insecticide has a label with information about the purpose of the product, the rules for use, the expiration date and the manufacturer. When used, the concentrate is diluted with water, so a 50ml bottle is enough for home use.
How does the drug work
After spraying on the treated surfaces, the fenthion contained in Dobrokhim FOS begins to evaporate. Exposure to vapors on the nervous system of insects causes paralysis and death of the parasites. The result is visible 15 to 20 minutes after application.
The consumption of funds varies depending on the type of insects, the number of colonies, the area of the treated premises. Do not exceed the dose recommended by the manufacturer. The protective functions of the product persist for 2 weeks.

Treatment is carried out with a working solution of the drug. The concentrate is diluted with water at room temperature. Ready-to-use liquid can be stored for no more than 8 hours.
Before using the drug, the food is taken out of the room, if necessary, the furniture is moved away from the walls, the shelves in the cabinets, the drawers of the chests of drawers, the bedside tables are freed. The migration paths of insects and the places of their accumulation are traced. Unauthorized persons, children, pets are removed from the premises. Aquariums with fish are taken out or covered with glass.
Corners, crevices, skirting boards are particularly intensively treated. When fighting bed bugs, spray the furniture. Bed linen and mattress covers are removed and washed at high temperature.

Processing of premises is carried out with open windows. Consumption of funds on non-absorbent surfaces (tile, linoleum, plastic) - 50 milliliters of working solution per square meter, on absorbent surfaces (fiberboard, plaster) consumption can increase up to 100 milliliters per square meter .
After spraying, the windows and doors in the room are closed and left to be exposed to the drug for a day. After that, the room is ventilated for at least 30-60 minutes, the remnants of the product are thoroughly washed off with a water-soda solution (30-40 grams of soda ash per 1 liter of water).
With head lice, hair or other parts of the body are treated with a cotton swab dipped in the product. Bedding and hats are also treated. After the treatment, the hair is washed under running water and rinsed with a weak vinegar solution. 3 tablespoons of vinegar (9% tablespoons per liter of water).
Security engineering
The insecticide has a class 3 hazard for humans. Any work with him should be carried out in personal protective equipment. In everyday life, dense fabric clothes, goggles, a respirator and rubber gloves are used. Material spills on floors and baseboards, therefore rubber boots should be worn. The hair is covered with a scarf or a hat.
