Description and particularities
The manufacturer produces a paint with a two-component composition, which includes a base base and a hardener. The paint and varnish material is used to create a surface for protecting parts with waterproofing and electrical insulation properties. Subjected to dyeing technology, the protective coating can last 3-5 years without losing its original properties. The life of the paint depends on the conditions in which it will be applied.
In addition to protective properties, epoxy coating EP-969 has a decorative function. A green paint is produced, after application it creates a smooth and even surface. Sold in any hardware store, accompanied by documentation confirming the quality of the products. Enamel is packaged in containers of 40-50 liters, as well as in cans of 18 and 3 liters.

The recommended number of layers when applying is 2. After mixing with the hardener, the composition is applied within 8 hours, otherwise the paint will become unusable.
How to prepare the foundation
Before you start painting the surface of the parts, prepare the base. The surface of the product is cleaned of dirt, dust and old paint materials. Removes rust, scale, oil and traces of grease. After the surface is sanded with sandpaper, treated with a solvent in order to degrease the base. After cleaning, mix the paint components according to the manufacturer's instructions. Start dyeing.
Coloring rules
After preparing the surface of the part to be painted, mix the EP-969 base with the hardener, scrupulously respecting the proportions.It is recommended to mix the components in a separate container.
Thoroughly mix the composition, after cooking it is left for 1 hour. If the solution is too viscous, it is allowed to use the thinner specified in the technical regulations.
After all the preparations, they start painting the room. The finished enamel is applied in one of the following ways:

Small objects are painted with a roller or brush, details in hard-to-reach places. Industrial equipment is used for large volumes of work, choosing a method of spraying. It is recommended to apply epoxy at an air temperature of at least +15 degrees.
Storage conditions
Store the epoxy mixture in a tightly closed container at a temperature of -40 ... + 40 degrees. A poisonous and explosive agent is discharged into a room inaccessible to children and animals, protected from exposure to ultraviolet rays, heaters, heating elements. The product must be protected from moisture. Shelf life of EP-969 is 6 months from date of manufacture.
Precautions for use
Apply enamel away from fire sources, heaters. When working indoors, they organize a high-quality ventilation system, use personal protective equipment: overalls, gloves and a respirator.
Do not allow substance to come into contact with open skin, respiratory tract or mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact with the skin, the area is washed thoroughly with running water and soap. If a toxic substance enters the respiratory tract, the victim is taken out of the treatment area and directed to a medical facility.
