Slime or slime is a popular toy for children. It's a sticky substance made from a soft jelly-like material that feels great to crinkle in your hands. The safest way to make slime is to use a recipe for making a toy from starch without tetraborate or glue. If a child accidentally swallows a toy, it will not harm his body. For the manufacture you will need heated water, the starch itself and a plate in which we will prepare the mixture. To give the slime some color, we'll use safe food coloring.

For the first step, mix the starch and water in a plate in a one to one ratio. Add a little coloring. It can also be replaced with brilliant green or potassium permanganate. Stir the resulting mass until thick.

Continuing to stir, we achieve the density of the mixture, squeeze out the slime from the dishes and knead it with our hands, distributing the glitter over the surface of the toy.

To prepare a slime that will be attracted to a magnet, take a bowl and pour liquid starch into it in an amount equal to a quarter of a glass. Add a couple of tablespoons of iron shavings to the mixture - in fact, it will be responsible for magnetism. Add PVA glue and mix until thick, after which we knead the toy with our hands for another five minutes.

All actions should be performed with gloves so that the hands do not darken from chips. The resulting mud will be able to stretch if you bring a magnet to it.

For the next recipe we need starch, PVA glue, water and dye. Mix starch with water in a bowl until thickened. Add dye to add color to the toy. Continuing to stir the mixture, gradually add glue to it. Then, using gloves, we take out the resulting toy and knead it with our hands on a flat surface. If the mass is not thick enough, add a little more glue to it.

To create a slime using this recipe, you will indeed need liquid starch, PVA glue, coloring and a container. At this point you can lay the cling film on the table and sprinkle some sprinkles on it.

With hair balm

Let's make a slime from starch and hair balm. Pour the balm into a container and add starch to it. Remember to stir constantly. Do not add too much starch to keep the toy dry. It should be noted that not all balms are equally suitable for this method.

The slime thus prepared turns out to be very rich and pleasant to the touch. We need shaving foam, PVA glue, tetraborate, liquid soap and dyes. Flavorings can be used if desired.

You can also do without soap and tetraborate, but then the mixture will have to be stirred for a long time until it thickens.

Precautionary measures

Don't let your child make the slime on their own, as they can burn the skin when working with chemicals.It is worth stirring the mixture with gloves, so as not to stain your hands with dyes. Also use a protective apron to avoid the risk of staining your clothes. Be sure to wash your hands after handling the slime.

Also, you should not use eating utensils, as the components can poison the body. Try to use disposable plastic dishes.
