Composition and characteristics
Water-based paint (acrylic) VEAK-1180 consists of the following components:
- acrylic dispersion (at least 50% by volume);
- plasticizers that increase the elasticity of the painted layer (7%);
- white pigment (37%);
- additional additives such as defoamers, thickening glues and others (6%).

What is necessary

Preparatory stage
Before use, the material must be warmed to room temperature (22-25 degrees). After that, the paint should be mixed, having reached a uniform consistency. If the composition turns out to be thick, water should be added to the paint.
When working with VEAK-1180, organic solvents should not be used. You need to apply the composition to a previously prepared surface. The area to be treated must be cleaned of dirt and grease using appropriate products. To increase the adhesion rate, it is recommended to apply a coat of primer to the surface, which will provide additional protection against rust and rot.
Paint work
Initially, the mixture is white. If necessary, coloring pigments can be added to this composition to obtain the desired shade. It is recommended to tint VEAK-1180 with Dali, Dulux, Palizh or Unicolor brand products.
The process of applying the composition also depends on the area of application. To speed up these works, it is recommended to use a spray gun. Brushes are only used to paint complex structures. The material should be applied in 2 layers, waiting each time for at least an hour, during which the mixture dries. Such work can be carried out at temperatures above 20 degrees and at humidity up to 80%.

Before buying VEAK-1180 paint, it is recommended to ask the seller for a certificate of conformity. This material must comply with GOST 19214-80. Additionally, this document reflects the name and address of the manufacturer's location. In the certificate of conformity, you can find information about:
- the results of the tests carried out;
- areas of application of a specific product;
- the type of material that can be processed.
In addition, the certificate of conformity contains the signature of the specialist and the seal of the company that issued the product. It is recommended to wear personal protective equipment when working with paint.
